Windows ‘Gurus’ At Best Buy Stores
September 13th, 2008 by ComputerBob
If you go to an Apple Computer store, you’ll see “Apple Geniuses” — individuals who are there to give you advice and help you with tech support issues.
Pretty soon, If you go to a Best Buy or Circuit City store, you’ll see Windows Gurus — Microsoft employees who will be there “to answer customer questions and defend Vista’s reputation against skeptics,” but who will not provide any tech support.
Isn’t it ironic that the operating system that gives people the least trouble provides free tech support specialists whose job it is to help you with any problems that you might run into, while the operating system that gives people the most trouble has only marketing people to try to convince you that it’s a great operating system?
It almost goes without saying, but insert your own lame joke here. Or, even better, leave it as a reply below.
