Why Does This Happen?

Regular readers of this Journal know that my wife and I have been married a very long time.
In fact, more than twice as long as either of us was alive before we met.
She is my angel, my joy — and very much my better half.
In all of these years together, I think she has picked up a lot of my sense of humor.
And I’ve tried to learn from the constant sense of calm that she maintains, no matter how dire the situation.
But I don’t think that we’ve even begun to start looking like each other.
