Though it is only one of several hundred different Linux distros, Ubuntu Linux enjoys a lot of popularity, especially among new Linux users and Windows converts.
As sort of a “poster child” for Linux, Ubuntu Linux probably also receives more than its share of criticism and suggestions for improvements.
Linux veterans realize that many of those criticisms and suggestions would apply equally as well to most other LInux distros.
So when you read Ten Sticking Points For New Ubuntu Users, ask yourself how many of them also apply to your favorite Linux distro.
