Was It 1998 or 1997?

Today, I changed the date in the banner near the top of this site’s home page.
It used to say “Making Geek-Speak Chic™ On The Web Since 1998.”
Now it says, “Making Geek-Speak Chic™ On The Web Since 1997.”
I created my first web sites at a free web host in early 1997, but I didn’t register the ComputerBob.com domain name until late 1998. That’s why I’ve displayed the 1998 date for so many years.
But even though ComputerBob.com didn’t exist until 1998, I’ve personally been “Making Geek-Speak Chic™ On The Web Since 1997.”
And doing it off the web since around 1980.
Now you know.
