U.S. Nuclear Accidents

When you’re dealing with devices that could instantly vaporize millions of people and make the earth uninhabitable for every living creature except cockroaches, it’s best to choose your words very carefully.
Unfortunately, one recent U.S. president was incapable of pronouncing the word “nuclear” correctly.
Irrespective of my opinion of him as a president, I was embarrassed for him — as well as for the prestige of the entire U.S. — every time he uttered the word “new-cue-ler.”
To me, it sounded like we had entrusted the safety and freedom of the entire free world to Cletus Spuckler.
But now it appears that maybe Cletus has always been in charge.
