Two Examples Of Anti-FUD

April 25th, 2009 by ComputerBob

Anyone who’s savvy enough to be reading this Journal knows that, for more than 2 decades, Microsoft has successfully used FUD to lower the public perception of its competitors.

And because Redmond has the bully pulpit of owning nearly the entire market of corporate and individual desktop PCs, and the vast majority of Windows users don’t read Journals like this one and don’t realize that there are alternatives to using Windows, anyone who speaks out to refute Microsoft’s FUD is a relative “voice crying in the wilderness” and ends up “preaching to the choir.”

But truth is truth, and truth needs to be told, whether or not huge crowds gather to listen to it.

A couple of great examples of the truth are Free Desks and Chairs, Anyone? and We Put the “No” In Innovation!

Brothers and sisters, let me hear you say “Amen!”
