The Mother Of All Funk Chords

I was all set to write about cybercrime this morning — how cybercriminals are now selling customized services to others who want to become cybercriminals. Scary stuff.
But then I stumbled onto something that I found much more interesting.
Fascinating, in fact.
And much more fun.
It’s a music video that “creates” an entire band by mashing together many old videos of people playing individual instruments — including a couple of theremins.
I imagine that it must have taken months and months of meticulous work just to find individual performance videos that were all in the same key, using the same rhythm — before the creator could even start the lengthy process of creating the mashup itself.
I’m incredibly impressed.
This video’s creator deserves at least a Masters degree in video editing for their effort.
And, having done my Masters thesis on creativity, I’d love to learn about the creative process that they went through — from the original spark of an idea to the finished project.
If you appreciate music and/or video production techniques, you’re going to be completely blown away by The Mother Of All Funk Chords.
