The High Cost Of Sending A Letter

A couple of weeks ago, my wife and I were discussing this same topic. Neither of us can figure out why anyone would want to use a cell phone to send text messages when it would be much faster and easier to just call the person instead.
And that doesn’t even take into account the absolutely obscene prices that some people pay to send text messages.

Some cell phone companies (like Cricket) don’t charge extra for unlimited texting.
I find that texting comes in handy when you don’t want to bother somebody with a phone call, they can just answer at their convenience.
