That’s One Fast Bike

If you’ve ever ridden a motorcycle, I’m betting that one of the first things you noticed was how powerful they are, compared to most cars.
In most cars, you press the accelerator pedal down and wait for the car to accelerate.
In contrast, on most motorcyles, you twist the right handgrip and the bike instantly accelerates - at least compared to most cars.
Now there’s a new rechargeable electric motorcycle that’s even more impressive.
The 500-bhp bike can do 0-60 mph in less than one second, reach a top speed of 168 mph, and run a quarter-mile track in less than 8 seconds.
But keep in mind another fact that every motorcycle rider knows: If you ride any motorcycle recklessly, it can go from full speed to a dead stop in a fraction of a second.
And thanks to MALsPa, who wrote to remind me that, even if you ride a motorcycle safely, there are still many situations that can cause it to go from full speed to a dead stop in a fraction of a second.
