Thank you, Lord, for all the ways that you bless me and show me how much you love me.
Thank you for strengthening me through the many difficult times of my life and for surprising me with countless undeserved joys.
Thank you for filling the cavernous holes in my heart that were left by so many others in the past.
And thank you for bringing my wife and many others into my life to love me, teach me, nurture me, support me and challenge me, and for giving me the honor of being able to share my own inadequate vision of your love with them every day.
You are the reason that I wake up every morning with a smile on my face and go to bed every night with a joyful sense of fulfillment.
You are the words and music of my life’s song.
