Ten Wacky Houses

Regular readers of this Journal know that my wife and I used to live up north in the Frostbite State.
And we’ve been very happily living in the Sunshine State since Christmas Day, 2003.
Over the years, we’ve lived in many different towns and cities in several different U.S. states — in lots of different apartments, mobile homes and houses. In fact, when we wrote it all down, we were shocked to see that, during our marriage, we’ve had close to 35 different addresses — and that includes more than 10 years in our house in the Frostbite State!
But our dream home is the best place we’ve ever lived. And in the past 5 1/2 years since we bought it, we’ve made it even better by doing things like this that make it uniquely ours.
We talked about it the other night, while we drove around with Max, looking at Christmas lights. Neither of us could think of anywhere we would rather live than right where we are now.
In fact, I’d rather live in our house than in any of these wacky houses from around the world.
