Sunday, August 14th, 2011

The other day, I downloaded the current Debian Squeeze (Stable) 6.0.2.1 Xfce+LXDE installation CD and installed its default Xfce choice from scratch onto a brand new ext4 hard drive partition of my existing Debian Wheezy PC.

I used to use computers with only 8KB of RAM; or two [more...]

His employer’s calendar software didn’t meet his department’s needs.

So he bought his own server.

And installed BSD on it.

Along with the calendar software that he wanted.

After he connected it to his employer’s network, [more...]

It’s That Time Again

Wednesday, April 13th, 2011

It comes every year.

Though sometimes, it seems like it comes more often.

April 15 is the yearly deadline for U.S. taxpayers to file their yearly federal — and state, if required — income taxes.

It’s been so many years that [more...]
