Sometimes, I Just Need Dog Time

Yesterday, my excellent next-door neighbors, Mike and Annamarie were both away from home all day. One was on an overnight trip and the other was teaching a class all day.
So I went next door to take care of Sasha, Cairo, Gizmo, Teela, and the-currently-visiting Scooter, who you may remember from this earlier Journal entry.
Early in the afternoon, I went over and let them all out in the back yard for a bathroom break. Afterward, they all seemed kind of depressed and lonely. So I stayed with them for a couple of hours and watched the movie, “Along Came Polly” on Mike and Annamarie’s giant screen HDTV.
I think it was just what we all needed. By the time the movie was over, they had each gotten some individual attention and they were all sleeping all over the living room floor around me.
And I had completely forgotten about my WordPress problems for awhile.
