So Where’s The Pot Of Gold?

I really love living in the Sunshine State with its bright colors, beauty of nature and diverse wildlife.
Oh, and did I mention the weather? Except for the occassional hurricane threat, it’s almost always sunny here, with a deep blue sky. And regular readers of this Journal know that I finished getting our dream home “hurricane hardened” a few months ago, so we won’t really have to worry about hurricanes any more.
Early yesterday evening, my wife’s sister called, to tell us that she and her husband were looking at a huge double-rainbow in the east. And since they live about a mile away from us, they thought that we’d probably be able to see it, too.
I went out into the street in front of our house and immediately saw it. It was almost 180 degrees wide and it lasted more than 30 minutes, during which time several neighbors came out to enjoy it.
Here’s a photo of a little part of it. In the lower-left corner of the photo, you can see Max’s Lighthouse. And you can also see that the rainbow ends in our back yard:
