Secure Windows
May 4th, 2009 by ComputerBob
I’ve been using Linux full-time instead of Windows since July, 2006 — and by design, Linux is much more secure than Windows. Well, there’s finally some good news for Windows users:
It’s the most secure distribution version of Windows XP ever produced by Microsoft: More than 600 settings are locked down tight, and critical security patches can be installed in an average of 72 hours instead of 57 days. The only problem is, you have to join the Air Force to get it.
It takes 72 hours to install critical Windows security patches? And that’s supposed to be a good thing?
