Office Depot Shenanigans 2
March 18th, 2009 by ComputerBob
About a week ago, I told you about allegations that Office Depot was providing scripts to its employees, to help them pressure customers into buying expensive service plans, and telling its cashiers to lie to customers who chose not to buy service plans.
Now LaptopMag.com says it has corroborated its original claims and added a new one — that Office Depot employees have admitted to changing price tags to trick customers into buying service plans.
It’s a good thing that savvy computer users don’t buy their computers at Office Depot.
