No One Ever Called Me That Before 2

More than a year ago, I told you how nice it felt when, after I lost more than 100 pounds, one of my neighbors surprised me with an offhand compliment.
A couple of days ago, I had a similar, but equally rewarding experience, with someone who hadn’t known me when I was heavy.
A woman who I’ve only known for a few months invited me to meet her for a business lunch this coming Monday. She’s going to pay, and she asked me which restaurant I’d like to go to.
I told her that I really don’t have any preference — that my problem isn’t where I eat, but making sure that I don’t eat too much.
That’s when she unknowingly paid me a tremendous compliment.
She laughingly replied, “Oh, sure — like you ever have to worry about eating too much!”
