National ID Security
August 7th, 2009 by ComputerBob
For the past several years, countries around the world — including the U.K. and the U.S. — have worked on the idea of creating digital national ID cards to enhance their security.
Their premise is that national ID cards containing electronic data-bearing chips would prevent “bad guys” from getting into places where they shouldn’t be.
And prevent identity theft and fraud.
And make everyone safer.
