Naptime Nanny 2
August 16th, 2008 by ComputerBob
Several days ago, I told you that Judy, one of my best friends from high school, has recorded a new CD of children’s stories called Naptime Nanny.
Naptime Nanny is quickly becoming a huge success. It’s already been endorsed by several award-winning educators, carried by some stores, and is proving to be very popular with teachers and parents alike.
Judy’s currently in the Sunshine State to visit her parents, so I made the trek yesterday to have a delightful lunch with them for a few hours at a Chinese buffet. It was great to catch up on each other’s lives again, and to exchange hugs. She also gave me a signed copy of Naptime Nanny. I plan to listen to it with Max when we take a nap together some time this afternoon.
Like me, Judy is a survivor. She and her husband Bob, another of my best friends from high school, really live out their faith every day. I hope that some day, she will share her story with us in my Survivors Forum.
UPDATE: Max and I lay down together on the living room sofa and started listening to Naptime Nanny. It’s very professionally done, and it’s also extremely effective: Max fell asleep during the first story, The Grasshopper and the Ants. I fell asleep somewhere near the end of the second story, Goldilocks and the Three Bears.
