More Accurate Hurricane Forecasting?

Every Gulf Coast resident knows that two weeks from today, the 2010 Hurricane Season will start.
Millions of lives and billions of dollars of property, travel and tourism are at risk every year, yet the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s hurricane predictions have been wrong three out of the last four years and seven out of the last eleven years.
But if we can’t believe NOAA’s predictions, then who can we believe?
No one can possibly know for sure, but it looks like Dr. James Hansimian’s climatological skills may rival NOAA’s.
