Looking Too Good To Eat

We all know that the hamburgers that we see on fast-food commercials always look much bigger, thicker, juicier and more appetizing than the ones that they actually serve us when we go out to eat.
I’ve noticed that one way the commercial makers do that is by showing an enthusiastic “burger eater” holding it only by its edges, with their hands all the way around its back side, so that it “sticks way out” of their hands and looks like it’s almost too big to hold.
And many of us know that they also employ the services of professional “food stylists.”
But once you know the dirty tricks and visual deceptions that food stylists are legally allowed to use to make hamburgers look so good in commercials, you’ll also know why the authorities would never allow a restaurant to serve you a “styled” burger — and why eating one could make you very, very sick.
