Laughing Through The Tears

Conventional wisdom says that comedy often comes from tragedy.
And many famous comedians have risen from the ashes of tragic circumstances.
The tears of a clown.
Regular readers of this Journal know that, over the years, I’ve survived an abundant share of traumas and tragedy.
Through it all, I’ve tried to keep my sense of humor.
But if it were not for my faith, I would no longer be alive.
The world’s current financial problems have resulted in a lot of suffering for a lot of people.
As a result, some have chosen to take their own lives.
The rest of us continue to survive, and try to find ways to be strong through our fears.
And laugh through our tears.
