If you’re ever called to serve on a jury in the U.S., please listen very carefully to the judge’s instructions and take your role very seriously.
Most of us know that jurors in criminal trials are forbidden from discussing their ongoing cases with anyone outside of the jury deliberation room.
But what if you post your conclusions about the defendant’s guilt on your Facebook page — while the trial is still going on?
A Michigan judge recently made the consequences of that behavior very clear to one juror.
