It Looks Like Pirated XP

Chinese software pirates have created what looks exactly like a pirated copy of Windows XP.
But it’s not really Windows XP at all.
It’s actually Ubuntu Linux, made to look like Windows XP. And you can download it for free.
So it may be just the ticket for Windows users who love the look and feel of Windows XP, but who are looking for a secure alternative to Windows’ swiss-cheese of security vulnerabilities.
But it has a problem: the whole thing is in Chinese.
However, if you read the comments after the article, someone posted a few simple instructions that will quickly change it to English.
Come to think of it, though, the fact that it’s in Chinese is not its only problem. Considering the fact that it was created by Chinese pirates, it’s probably packed with all kinds of malware.
Which means that Windows users probably wouldn’t notice any security differences by switching to it.
But there’s an even better idea that will give you the security and power that comes from using Linux, without any malware, and it will look just like Windows XP. All you have to do is install the normal Ubuntu Linux and then install an Ubuntu XP theme that will make it look like XP.
