Impressive Sand Sculptures 2

In addition to plenty of lightning, the Sunshine State also has plenty of sand.
In fact, we don’t have any of the black dirt that northerners are used to seeing in the ground.
Our “dirt” is sand. With limestone somewhere underneath it.
Which means that, if you’re so inclined, you can create a sand sculpture pretty much anywhere you want.
So naturally, every year brings several sand sculpting events to our area beaches.
Here are 10 Spectacular Sand Sculpting Festivals.
Oddly, only three of them were held in the Sunshine State.
