How (Not) To Save The Planet
September 16th, 2008 by ComputerBob
It caused a huge controversy when it was reported that the former vice-president’s family home uses 20 times as much energy as the average Tennessee home.
The controversy continued when someone figured out the humongous size of the “carbon footprint” that he left when he repeatedly criss-crossed the country and the world by jet, preaching his message of energy conservation.
Now the latest news from the Al Gore “Do As I Say, Not As I Do Department” reports that the self-proclaimed environmentalist, who has received many prestigious awards and who has reportedly made hundreds of millions of dollars from his pro-environmental crusade, recently bought a 100-foot houseboat.
Apparently, the rich and powerful are exempt from all of that pesky advice about how to save the planet.
