Sometimes, it seems like, no matter how many times this type of thing happens, and no matter how egregious the events are, many people choose to either ignore them or downplay their significance.
Especially those who have either allowed or caused them to happen.
But something just happened that I think is incredibly important news for anyone who is considering using “The Cloud” to store their important and private data — and it’s especially important news for anyone who currently uses Facebook, is thinking of signing up for a Facebook account, or is thinking of cancelling their Facebook account:
“The personal details of 100 million Facebook users have been collected and published online in a downloadable file, meaning they will now be unable to make their publicly available information private.”
