Germany To Ban Paintball

For many years, a controversy has simmered, regarding the possible connection between violent games and real-life violence. Many people have very strong feelings on the subject, and every time there’s a mass shooting somewhere, it fans the simmer into flames for awhile.
Studies are released, showing that there is a clear correlation between playing violent games and acting out violent behaviors in real-life.
Other studies are released, showing that no correlation exists.
And of course, every study concludes that more studies are needed.
But the German government appears to have reached its own conclusion: It plans to ban paintball. “The governing parties say paintball trivialises violence and risks lowering the threshold for committing violent acts.”
Here come the flames again.
