Regular readers of this Journal know that I’ve been using personal computers since 1979, and I’ve been using Linux full-time instead of Linux since July of 2006.
Having been a DOS and Windows power user and support person since the early days, I’m really grateful that the only times I ever have to deal with Windows any more are when I help other people with their Windows computers.
But if you’re still a Windows user, and you’ve either bought a new computer lately, or you’ve upgraded your older Windows XP computer to Windows 7, then you’ve probably noticed that W7 comes with some built-in annoyances.
