The Sunshine State is a wonderful place to live if you like a lot of sunshine.
And you hate cold weather.
And you can tolerate a lot of heat and humidity in the summer.
But it’s an especially great place to live if you like lightning.
Hundreds and hundreds of strikes with each major storm.
We probably get more lightning strikes than anywhere else in the world.
It’s shocking how much lightning we get.
You knew I would say that, didn’t you?
Lightning is fun to see, but it’s very dangerous to be around.
So here are some facts about lightning that you may not know.
