Economic Downturn Not Affecting IT Workers?

According to the Associated Press, the U.S. economic downturn has affected technology workers less severely than workers in other industries.
But Slashdot’s readers don’t necessarily agree with that premise — and some of those who do have strong opinions about why it’s nothing to celebrate.
