Does This Punishment Fit The Crime?

I think it’s right that he should be prosecuted as an adult. And I agree that he should be charged with mulitple feonies for allegedly hacking into his high school’s computer system.
The part I have a problem with is the fact that he’s facing 38 years in prison for his crimes.
