Computer-Aided Telepathy

I’ve mentioned it a few times in the past, but back in the Summer of 1986, I wrote a paper for a “Future of Education” course in which I predicted that several new computer-centric technologies would forever change the definition of the word “education.”
One of my predictions was computer-aided mental telepathy — using a brain-to-cordless-telephone interface that would allow two people at any distance to communicate through thought alone.
Now, more than 22 years later, the U.S. army is planning to start working on that same idea.
