Comedy Movie Blunders

April 29th, 2009 by ComputerBob

I’m very visually oriented, and I’m also very detail-oriented, so I tend to notice little visual continuity mistakes in movies and TV shows.

For example, several days ago, I saw one in the movie Moonstruck. There’s a scene near the end where two characters are talking on a sidewalk, and every time the view changes from one camera to the other, the lapels on one of the character’s trenchcoats go back and forth between being closed and being open.

If you like finding and hearing about those types of mistakes, you’ll enjoy Comedy Movie Blunders.

But don’t start feeling too superior to the moviemakers until you make your own feature film — and see how many mistakes other people find in it.
