Another Windows Antivirus Tool
May 21st, 2009 by ComputerBob
Linux users don’t really have to worry about computer viruses and malware — by design, our systems enjoy a much higher level of security than Windows PCs.
But if you’re a Windows user — or if you’re the designated support person for friends or coworkers who use Windows, then you know how important it is to be constantly vigilant to guard Windows PCs against the myriad of malware that is designed to exploit their hundreds of security vulnerabilities.
And you also know how difficult — and often impossible — it is to try to disinfect a Windows PC that has become infected.
Today, I read an interesting blog post. Although it contains some grammatical and usage errors, it convinced me to download and add Kaspersky’s Rescue CD to my tool chest of Windows support CDs.
If you deal with Windows at all, I urge you to do the same.
