Another Password Cracker

As if the majority of computer users don’t have enough to worry about, now comes word that “A Russian software company today released a password cracking tool that instantly reveals cached passwords to Web sites in Microsoft Internet Explorer, mailbox and identity passwords in all versions of Microsoft Outlook Express, Outlook, Windows Mail and Windows Live Mail.”
Did you notice the common thread in all of those cracked applications?
You’re right — they’re all Windows applications.
Add this latest security exploit to the long, long list of reasons why I’ve been very happily using Linux full-time instead of Windows since July of 2006.
