Another Dark Cloud 4

Regular readers of this Journal know that I’ve always expressed serious concerns about how computer users seem to be eager to trade their private data’s security, access, privacy and control for a little convenience.
So I keep all of my private data right here on my PC, as well as backed up onto my own additional hard drives.
And I don’t trust any of it to “the cloud.”
If you’re savvy enough to be visiting this Web site, then it probably won’t surprise you to learn that Google, Amazon and Rackspace (in that order) are three of the world’s biggest “cloud” providers.
But the world’s biggest “cloud” provider is far bigger and far more powerful than even Google.
Can you guess who owns it?
I’ll give you a hint: You can thank Bill Gates for it.
