An Idea That Might Save Lives

Anyone who’s ever cared about someone with Alzheimer’s Disease knows how traumatic that disease can be for all of those involved.
As well as how terrifying it is when an Alzheimer’s sufferer wanders off from their caretakers. One educator warns that “Sixty per cent of individuals afflicted with Alzheimer’s Disease will be involved in a ‘critical wandering incident’ at least once during the progression of the disease — many more than once…”
If you read or watch the news, you know that an alarming number of those who wander off, die from exposure or an accident before they can be found.
Fortunately, two companies have teamed up to provide what looks to be one possible solution to the problem.
