Adding Insult To Injury
January 21st, 2009 by ComputerBob
Despite a short-but-sorry shilling attempt by comedian Jerry Seinfeld several months ago, Windows Vista continues to be a huge flop, due to its well-known incompatibilities and bugs, as well as its highly restrictive DRM and other security policies.
Those computer users who were unfortunate enough to have bought that now-2-year-old operating system — whether preinstalled on a new PC, or through an expensive “upgrade” to Windows XP — have had few choices except to wait for Microsoft to fix the problems or pay even more to “upgrade” down to Windows XP.
Or drop Windows in favor of a Mac or Linux.
As though all of that isn’t bad enough, but now comes news that there are Possible Last-Minute Problems With Vista SP2.
It baffles me that some people think that the much-anticipated Windows 7 will be better.
