A Very Special Treat

A couple of days ago, my excellent next-door neighbors and friends, Mike and Annamarie, went to a meeting for a greyhound rescue charity that they support.
But before they went, Mike spent several hours making a very special surprise treat to take to the meeting.
Its ingredients are German chocolate cake, white cake, vanilla sandwich cookies, vanilla instant pudding and tootsie rolls.
Sounds good, doesn’t it?
But we all know that, with food, a good presentation can make the difference between a dish that people can’t wait to try and one that no one wants to eat.
So Mike meticulously crafted his very special treat to look absolutely perfect.
When he was all done, his Kitty Litter Cake. looked like this:
