A Very Busy Day And Night 2

Yesterday proved to be even busier than I had expected.
My charity work day started at 7:30 AM and didn’t end until I got home at 6:00 PM.
Then I lay down, hoping to get a few hours of sleep before starting my first midnight-to-8:30 AM shift as a Technology Clerk at the local 2010 U.S. Census office.
But I couldn’t sleep because my brain was too wound up from all the excitement of the charity event.
So I ended up watching TV until 10:30 PM, then taking a shower, getting dressed, and heading to my Census job.
When I got home almost 90 minutes ago, I was ready to go right to sleep. Max, Pookie and Petey were happy to join me.
But three strategically timed incoming telephone calls — including one that was a wrong number — ruined that plan.
So as of this writing, I’ve been awake for the past 27 hours.
Try, try again.
Update: Now it’s been 35 1/2 hours, but at least I finally got almost 2 hours of sleep.
