A Vast Digital Wasteland

Several weeks ago, I told you why you’ve never seen 14,456 of the comments that have been posted to my Journal in the past year or so.
Currently, the number of unseen comments is at 16,072.
Newly published research reveals, among other things, that 95% of all user generated content is either spam or malicious.
Here in my Journal, it’s almost exactly 100% — but I work to ensure that you never have to wade through all of that spammy maliciousness in order to see a few valid comments.
