How many of today’s technologies did you “see coming?” When I was a kid, I used to love to read Popular Science magazine, mainly because it always had the latest news about technologies of the future.
So I knew about a lot of today’s technologies long before they were “ready for prime time.”
But I also read about a lot of promising technologies that fizzled out somewhere between the drawing board and the marketplace.
I think that Popular Science probably created and nurtured for my lifelong love of new technologies — as well as the way that I always balance that love with a critical, analytical eye.
