A Grand Canyon View

I’ve never been to the Grand Canyon, but even from what I’ve seen in movies and TV shows — including the excellent new Ken Burns documentary series, The National Parks: America’s Best Idea — it is quite impressive and awe-inspiring.
Now someone has built a new way for tourists to view the canyon: through a glass “skywalk” that extends almost 70 feet out over the edge of a cliff, 4,000 feet above the canyon floor.
The bad news is that numerous fees make it a pretty expensive destination for many tourists. And even those who can afford to walk out onto the clear walkway aren’t allowed to take any photographs from it.
The good news is that someone already has.
