A Complaint-Free World

August 15th, 2008 by ComputerBob

There’s an old Christian hymn that says, “Count your blessings; name them one by one. Count your blessings, see what God has done. Count your blessings; name them one by one. Count your many blessings, see what God has done.”

I try to do that in my life, because no matter how many difficult experiences I’ve been through, the fact of the matter is that my life is much, much easier than the lives of the vast majority of people living on this planet. But even realizing that, I sometimes find myself complaining about stupid, unimportant things. Those are the times when I end up feeling like the spoiled, pampered owner of a million-dollar Rolls-Royce, complaining that his automobile needs an oil change.

I haven’t had time to look over the whole site to know if there’s anything fishy about it, but A Complaint Free World seems to have a good idea for helping train ourselves to lead complaint-free lives.
