10 Good Downloadable Books
March 31st, 2009 by ComputerBob
I grew up reading tons and tons of books. Adventure, science fiction, mystery, horror, Winnie the Pooh, everything ever written by Beverly Cleary and much, much more.
My wife grew up reading, too, and still reads tons of books. She inhales them, one after another. When we moved from the Frostbite State to the Sunshine State five years ago, we sold and gave away two carloads of books that she had read. Since then, she’s probably read another carload of them.
Nowadays, I read more out of necessity than enjoyment. That’s not to say that I don’t enjoy the things that I choose to read — but I read them because I need to know the things that they say, not because I’m looking for entertainment.
With that in mind, here are one author’s choices of 10 Open Source Books Worth Downloading.
I think I might be interested in learning a thing of two about Linux from a few of them.
I might even enjoy one or two of them.
