- Contains links to all major sections of site, articles, Internet news headlines, daily cartoon, weird photos, etc.
- Began in August, 1998, as one page with links to 12 syllabi. Has grown to hundreds of pages.
- Hosted by a paid hosting service. Created on my own time (3700+ hours), paid for out of my own pocket.
- All of my courses are Web enhanced. Site serves as example for teaching Web design and development courses.
- All of my course materials, policies, etc. are available online 24 hours a day.
Articles and Links
- Contain computer, personal, entertainment, educational, career topics and features.
- Provide information and answer questions most asked by students.
- Used when appropriate in any of the courses I teach.
Courses Page
- Contains all of my course syllabi, schedules, assignments, readings, reviews, quizzes, tests, etc.
- Used by every student in every course I teach.
Forums
- Anyone can read the messages on my public forums, but only registered users can post messages.
- No one is required to post any messages, though students can earn up to 2% extra credit by doing so.
- Contains over 400 messages posted by 60 members since Christmas, 2001.
- Previous forum contained over 2500 messages posted by over 500 members during a 3 year period.
- Has international (U.K., South Africa, Australia), national, local and student members.
- Students I taught 4 years ago still post messages.
Email Page
- Allows almost anyone to check their home ISP email account for new messages.
- I constantly check mine because I receive up to 60 email messages per day.
- Used when appropriate in any of the courses I teach.
Software Page
- Contains over 80 pieces of the best freeware and shareware I've found after testing hundreds.
- Used when appropriate in any of the courses I teach.
Search Page
- Contains links to over 60 search sites.
- Used when appropriate in any of the courses I teach.
Site Information Page
- Describes the features and services utilized throughout the entire site, along with their sources and difficulty level.
- Used in Web design and development courses, educational presentations, etc.
Instructional Fun
- Explains the pedagogy behind my site's many "fun" features.
