It is with great pleasure that I present a CB
Award to Owen Briggs for his article, Sane CSS Sizes.
Briggs made hundreds of screenshots that compare many different types of Web page font-sizing methods on different computer platforms with
different browsers. His article describes the very best method of font sizing, using em units to specify font sizes.
It combines the size specificity of fixed font sizes with the resizability of relative font sizes. The result is very readable text that displays
very uniformly across different platforms and different browsers, while allowing users to resize it as their browsers permit. I was
so impressed that I converted this entire Web site to Owen Briggs' font-sizing method, and then presented this award to him.
